$ 545 MILLION GRANT TO GHANA

President J. A. Kufuor of Ghana has inaugurated an authority called the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), the body set up to oversee the implementation of the Ghana Program of the Millennium Challenge Account. Inaugurating the board, at the Castle in Osu, seat of government, the President emphasized that the $545 million grant from the government of the US was unprecedented and significant and charged board members to be “business-like in approach, defend the national interest, and ensure that farmers adopt the best practices in order to lay the foundations for modern agriculture in the country.”   more....

I did not wish to disclose my intentions to the world prior to the adoption happening as this is a private family matter.
